Topshop Lipstick

Hello loves!

Something a little bit different for you all today. I want to talk, well gush, about one of my latest buys... A Topshop lipstick in the colour Trigger.

Now, I was a little sceptical about make-up from clothes shops because, at the end of the day, people don't go there for make-up, they go there for clothes so I felt as though less effort would be put into the make-up collection.

BOY, WAS I WRONG!

This lipstick is creamy, it stays on all day, it suits my (incredibly pale despite summer) skin tone and it was affordable at £8, plus an extra 10% discount if you have a student card. Thank you, Topshop!

To celebrate, here's a selfie I took this morning.

Thanks,

K xo

April Challenge Update: Birmingham

I know this is late but for your information, I DID go to Birmingham to visit my friend, Sarah. It was a lovely day trip and meant that we could have a good catch up before I returned to university for my final term (honestly can't believe first year has gone THIS quick). Here's some lovely photos for your enjoyment, haha:

Sarah took me to the Bullring and we found the best treats in Selfridges! Definitely going back there, especially for the jelly bean bull.

The next photos are of the University Campus. It's a really beautiful uni, lots of red brick and glass windows.
Apparently if you stare at the face of the clock tower while walking towards it, you'll fall over. I tried to test this but Sarah wouldn't let me, obviously because she's tried it herself! I also walked underneath the clock tower which is supposed to be bad luck. Let's wait and see, haha.

Hope you enjoyed!

April Challenge Update: Revision

It's got to that time of year again. Yes, it's almost exam time!

It's funny because I thought that university would mean as few exams as possible yet, although I have less exams this year than last, I'm still spending a longer amount of time sitting exams as each one is 3 hours long. Yes, 3 hours!! I'm a little worried because I can barely concentrate for 1 hour, let alone 3. Writing for 3 hours straight is also going to take a lot of practice. Oh, and learning quotes from the set texts because it's a closed book exam.

I have a lot to do and I'm not really doing it. Just complaining about it, typical student! On the plus side, however, I have made a revision timetable and am attempting to stick to it. I honestly didn't realise how difficult keeping to a timetable would be at home, especially as all my friends are home too and I want to make the most of seeing them. I'm trying though!

Wish me luck!
